To save water and money :

Raise the blades on your lawn mower - longer lawns need less water.

If you're growing your own veg think about buyin a water butt , the average UK roof collects 85,000 litres of rain

Water plants at the coolest part of the day to save evaporation, also add mulch to keep soil moist and you won't have to water as much.

Check you don't have dripping taps or leaking hosepipes.

Change your settings - make sure you've changed your timers for when the clocks change.  If you don't have a thermostat turn your boiler to summer settings

Don't leave the tap running when cleaning teeth or washing dishes, take shorter showers over baths.

Only running washing machines and dishwashers when they are full can save 1,000 litres a month.
